The Ruda Hotel

The Ruda hotel is a modern rehabilitation and hospitality center located in the very scenic Podlasie region of northeastern Poland. It was established in 2022 and is both a vocational activity establishment, as well as a beautiful hotel facility, currently employing over 40 people with disabilities. Our Hotel project combines rehabilitation, employment and hospitality under one roof. Its mission is to create a space where work not only supports financial independence, but also builds confidence, community, and dignity. By operating as a hotel and wellness retreat, the center allows guests to directly support social inclusion. Every stay here contributes to the employment and training of people with disabilities. Our hotel meets European Pro-Green Sustainability and Environmental Standards- drawing most of our energy from solar cells, and utilizing latest technology to minimize water and energy use.

What Happens Here

Providing vocational and social support

The center's primary goal is to provide employees with severe and moderate disabilities vocational and social rehabilitation. We believe that between career counseling, vocational training, social work, and social activities, our employees can achieve independence and community, and eventually find employment in the open labor market.

Access to culture and recreation

At Ruda, we regularly offer our employees access to cultural and recreational events. Our ability to provide our employees with countless educational and social opportunities is one of the many things that makes Ruda so special. We believe these events are necessary for success, and also make for a great time! Every year, we open our doors for 7 days to the local community to show how important our program is.

Rehabilitation services

We are able to provide  rehabilitation programs tailored to an individual's needs. Our goal is to constantly improve these services and allow our employees to feel the best they can, and fulfill all personal and professional duties independently and with dignity. We also extend our rehabilitation services to our guests at a paid basis.

Hospitality

In addition to offering services and employment opportunities to Poland's blind and disabled, we operate as an environmentally conscious hotel, providing visitors with access to local historic sites, national parks, health-centered recreation, and opportunities to socialize and work with our blind and disabled community.  We are able to provide group tours and lodging for groups up to 25 people and expect to expand to 50 by May 2026.
