
Peter Swiderski has served as President of the Committee since 2021, capping a 40 year commitment to the organization. He brings extensive experience in the non-profit sector, banking and consulting to his current role. He also served as mayor of his community, and in other roles with several local non-profits. Andrew Swiderski has served as Treasurer for the Committee for the Blind of Poland since 2023. He began volunteering with the organization in 2011. Since becoming Treasurer, Andrew has focused on finding modern solutions to ensure the committee’s long-term financial stability. With over 5 years of experience working in advertising and media production, Andrew brings a unique and essential perspective to his role as Treasurer. He is deeply committed to supporting the Committee’s mission and helping it thrive in the years ahead.

As the Technology Officer for the Committee, Sophia Swiderski applies her technical expertise to support the organization’s digital infrastructure and virtual initiatives. She holds an M.S. in Computer Science and a B.A. in Psychology from Northwestern University, reflecting her combined interest in technology and human behavior. Her career has spanned roles in software engineering, AI development, and technical consulting. She values the opportunity to contribute her skills toward improving the lives of people in need.
Amy Yoxthimer has served as a Board Member of the Committee for over 10 years. She brings over 25 years of experience in the non-profit sector, working with diverse and underserved communities. She has experience with program development and scaling efforts aimed at population-level impact. She is honored to support the Committee’s mission

Kim Bingham has been a management consultant in the investment banking industry for over 25 years. He oversees large-scale transformation projects for international banking clients. He got his MBA at the University of Chicago and then started his post-MBA career at Accenture before starting his own firm. Prior to getting his MBA, he worked as a U.S.-government consultant in Central and Eastern Europe where he advised national finance ministries on capital markets development issues. He began his personal journey in Central and Eastern Europe as a Peace Corps volunteer in Poland where he worked on privatization programs as it began its transition from communism to a free market system.
